Iran, Turkey theatre figures discuss joint project

Turkish theater activists have attended the 37th edition of Iran’s Fajr International Theater Festival, planing to produce a joint work with Iran.

Iran and Turkey theater activists hold a session to introduce the contemporary theater of turkey. Turkish playwright Ozen Yula and the director of Istanbul Theater Festival Leman Yilmaz were among the guests of Fajr Theater Festival.

Iranian and Turkish actors will take part in the joint work.

The attendees decided to introduce Iran’s contemporary theater in a similar session at the next Istanbul Theater Festival in 2019.

They also planned to perform stage reading of some of the selected plays of Iranian playwrights at the Istanbul festival.
